AiSee began with a simple act of empathy and a bold vision. In 2012, at MIT, Professor Suranga Nanayakkara built the first prototype to help a visually impaired friend who struggled with note-taking. That small idea grew into more than a decade of research, co-creation, and design with people who are blind and visually impaired — all driven by the belief that technology should extend human ability, not replace it. Today, AiSee is evolving beyond accessibility. The same hands-free, intelligent interaction that empowers the blind is now being reimagined for everyone — for productivity, creativity, and everyday life.
